The Thoroughbred Owners of California (TOC) hosted its first orientation for new owners at Santa Anita & Golden Gate Fields on Saturday, February 23. The orientations featured office visits to the CHRB, Paymaster, Racing, CARMA & the Track Photographer for introductions and brief Q&A sessions to help become familiar with the ins & outs of the track.

Attendees left with our new handbook and an Owner Orientation packet that includes helpful information on acquiring thoroughbreds, entering in races, contact information for track personnel, and sample agreements for Partnerships, Syndicates, and a sample contract between Owners and Trainers.
