Ciaglia and partners Exline-Border, Gulliver Racing, S. Alesia, R. Christensen & T. Legan won the 14 Hands Winery Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies with Champagne Room, ridden by Mario Gutierrez and trained by Peter Eurton.
Other TOC Board members finishing strong on November 5, 2016:
• Samantha Siegel (Jay Em Ess Stables) and partner Los Pollos Hermanos Racing placed 2nd with Masochistic in the TwinSpires Breeders’ Cup Sprint.
• Gary Fenton (Little Red Feather Racing) and partner A Venneri Racing, Inc. ran 3rd with Midnight Storm in the Breeders’ Cup Mile.
• Mike Pegram’s Hoppertunity finished 4th in the Breeders’ Cup Classic.
