TOC President Joe Morris presented a certificate of appreciation and a horseshoe wine rack to Pablo Suarez, who retired this year after serving on the board of directors of the TOC since 2007. During his tenure on the board, Suarez served as Vice Chair, Southern California, chairman of the Legislative & Government Affairs committee, and TOC representative to the California Jockey Welfare Corp. (CJWC), National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) and Racing Medication & Testing Consortium (RMTC). Always an energetic and hard-working director, he will be sorely missed.
