On Saturday, August 11, more than 110 TOC members and guests attended the 2018 Southern California Annual Meeting at Del Mar. Following the buffet breakfast, attendees heard a State of TOC Address by CEO & President, Greg Avioli. Attendees also had the opportunity to meet and chat with TOC board members and staff as well as participate in a lively question and answer session.
Leading Owner awards for 2017 were presented to Hronis Racing for most money won and most CA stakes wins (tied with Rockingham Ranch); Rockingham Ranch for most California races won and most CA stakes wins (tied with Hronis Racing); and lastly, to DP Racing for most California starts. The Rookie of the Year awards were presented to Roshan Charlton and Louis Pisano.

Our second Annual Meeting will be held at Golden Gate Fields on Saturday, October 20. It will feature a buffet lunch and business meeting agenda, in addition to a presentation of our third 2017 Rookie of the Year, Jeffrey Vandrie.
