TOC is now accepting applications for the position of Liaison, Northern California.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Based at Golden Gate Fields, serves as liaison between TOC and northern racetrack and fairs.
Position requires extensive analytical and statistical experience. Must be able to generate weekly handle and revenue, field size, and ADW reports, as well as specific analytical reports requested by President and CEO.
Serves as primary contact for statistical information with CHRIMS.
Contributes statistical reports for quarterly newsletter.
Assists TOC bookkeeper with race meet reconciliations.
Coordinates with TOC staff in southern California to facilitate board committee meetings, annual meetings, annual owner awards, website and email server maintenance.
Represents TOC at Northern California industry meetings.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Work experience in the Thoroughbred racing industry preferred.
Extensive analytical and statistical experience.
Customer service experience a plus.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to identify trends that will affect the future of the industry.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Ability to work in an environment of high confidentiality.
Website maintenance experience preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree.
